| HB Esmech Private Limited is the leading
manufacturer of Strip Processing Equipment for
the flat rolled metal industry in India. HB
Esmech has successful installations in almost
all Cold Rolling units and many tube mills and
service centers in India. Many of these units
have exclusively HB Esmech process lines installed.
HB Esmech is also a reputed exporter of equipment,
and has supplied high quality machinery to a
number of countries such as USA, Japan, Germany
(the then West Germany), Singapore, Philippines,
Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, UAE,
Bangladesh, Nepal, Kenya, Mexico etc. |

The export efforts of HB Esmech has been acknowledged
by the Government of India, which has conferred
the prestigious EXPORT HOUSE status on HB Esmech.
A number of export achievement awards have also
been conferred on the company.
The financial standing of the company is
excellent, with equity and reserves of about
US$ 3 million, and no commercial borrowings
of any nature. The annual business turnover
of the company is approximately US$ 8 million.

History
:
HB
Esmech started its operations as Esmech Rolling
Machinery Pvt. Ltd. in 1981 by Mr. S.L. Joshi,
the Managing Director, a dynamic technocrat with
around 40 years of experience in the metal processing
industry.
The
company was started with the manufacture of slitting
lines and within a couple of years developed many
other process lines like Pickling Lines, Cut-To-Length
Lines, Degreasing Lines, Coil Build-up Lines etc.
As
a part of the expansion program, another unit
of the name of Hollow Block Mfg. Co. Pvt. Ltd.
was taken over in 1991 and dedicated to manufacture
of similar products. The unit is located at Wagle
Industrial Estate, Thane and had an independent
manufacturing facility installed.
In
1996, in order to consolidate the group activities,
both the units were combined under the company
Hollow Block Mfg. Co. Pvt. Ltd.
The name
of Hollow Block Mfg. Co. Pvt. Ltd. has been changed
to HB Esmech Private Limited from May 2002.
Along
with the change in name, our corporate logo has
also been changed.
